Toilets and bathrooms are a place of negative energies. If toilets are not built as per guidelines of vaastu, it may leads to many unwanted problems like loss of money, mental stress and frequent accidents. When doing vaastu for your home, one must follow rules and principles of vaastu specially for Toilets and bathrooms.
1. The best location for a toilet or bathroom is the North-West part of the home (not the North-West corner).
2. The second best location for a toilet is the North-East part and not the North-East corner, and the South-West part leaving the South-West corner.
3. Construct toilets in West or North-West side of north of a room depending upon whether toilet is with bedroom or separate.
4. Toilets can also be build on South side.
5. Place commode inside the toilet in West, South or North-West side of West.
6. Fit the pot, in toilet, in such a way that while using the commode the person never faces East or West.
7. The flooring of Toilet should be made in such a way that water drains towards east or north sides.
8. Store water, or having taps etc in East, North or North-East.
9. Prefer Light Colors.
10. Build a small window in East, West, or North Wall.
11. Never Build Toilet above or under Puja room and bedroom.
12. Avoid building Toilets in North-East, South-West Corners.
13. Never construct attached Toilets in South-East or South-West Corner.
14. Never store water or have taps in South-West or South-East.
