Kitchen is the place of cooking food for our daily body needs.
This place should be kept clean, hygienic and clutter free. Choose Light colors for your kitchen. Avoid Bright Colors.
1. Avoid kitchen directly under or above puja/prayer room.
2. Do not have kitchen directly under or above toilets.
3. Avoid kitchen directly under or above bedroom.
4. Do not place cooking gas burner or stove in front of kitchen’s entrance door.
5. Do not have kitchen door in any corners; place it in East, North or West wall.
6. Having kitchen in North-East direction leads to tensions among family members and monetary losses
7. Kitchen in South-West leads to arguments among family members.
8. One can have a kitchen in North-West direction but this is acceptable, only if one installs vaastu products. It leads to increase in money loss, or extra expenditure.
9. Having kitchen in North will increase uncontrolled expenditure.
10. Never face west while cooking as this leads to severe health problems to the family.
11. The cook faces south while cooking, then the whole family has to face wealth and health loss.
12. Always keep kitchen platform clean, clutter free, specially do this every night before sleeping.
13. Avoid keeping refrigerator in North-East direction.
14. A refrigerator in South-East, South, West or North direction of Kitchen is recommended. If the refrigerator is in South-West direction then keep it a few inches away from wall.
15. Put cooking gas burner or stove in South-East corner of kitchen, make sure that it is a few inches away from wall.
16. South wall for keeping Electrical Appliance like microwave ovens, mixer/grinder etc.
17. Use North-East to set up wash-basin or sink in the kitchen.
18. Use North-East or North side to keep drinking water.
19. Keep grain boxes, pulses, various spices, salt etc. in South or West direction.
20. Have two windows/gaps in East and West walls of kitchen and place an exhaust fan here.
21. Always cook food while facing East, It considered auspicious.
22. In Kitchen yellow, orange, rose, chocolate or red colors recommended. Black color for kitchen wall and flooring is not recommended.
