I owe to my mother.

She is our superhero without a cape; angelic smile on her face. She is woman like no other. She gave me life, nurtured me, taught me, dressed me, held me, kissed me; most importantly she loved me unconditionally.

She is a walking miracle plans the routine; the way she handles, those things which looks big trouble to me OMG…!! End of the world; but she manages situations like a pro. I and my sisters all agree to the fact that our house becomes home with her presence as it lights up with her voice and relax in the warmth of her love and care. There are not enough words to express my love for her and how important she is to me, what a powerful influence she continues to be.

From tying your shoelaces for the first time, crying with me on my first day of school to showering blessings on my very first job—she is simply irreplaceable.

When I have my mother by my side, I am pretty much having the strongest support in the whole wide world.

She is my first best friend and the person; I always turn to when I need advice or when we are in trouble.

Her love is pure; unlike any other and our one-of-a-kind relationships can never be compared.

No matter my age, she always means the world to me. She is our family’s superhero and the biggest supporter, but we usually don’t tell her how much we deeply love her.

Mummyji is not physically here anymore, but her love and light live on forever. There are no goodbyes for us. wherever you are, you will always be in our heart..!!

For those nine months of nausea, fatigue, pain and stretch marks. For the growing number on the weighing scale and for clothes that stopped fitting me. For the hormonal dis-balances, the hair loss, and the skin breakouts; Because it all led up to the opportunity and gift of bringing life into this world.

Thank you for letting me feel the magic that you grow and move inside me. For showing me a new world, in a physical aspect through labor, that the worst kind of pain can bring the greatest amount of joy. The first time that day I looked into your eyes and heard you cry for the first time will always be one of my best memories. Both of are my gems, my hearts moving out of my body. 

Happy mother’s day to all mothers! Thanks for making this world so full of love by the touch of your motherhood. This day is celebrated every year on 2nd Sunday of May month.

Mother’s Day is a celebration of acknowledging and honoring the mother of the family, as well as appreciating and celebrating motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in our lives. It is a day dedicated to thanking them for their efforts, contributions, love, and sacrifices. 

This Day, let her know how much she mean to you by showering them with love, care and your undivided attention. It is never too late to thank her and show gratitude towards her. Thank her for everything she has done for you, and tell her that she is important. After all, you are because she is.

During lockdown, we are spending more time at home means more time with family results in more bonding. Take a break from your life, sit down with your mother, and get to know what is happening in her world. Prepare a cup of tea or coffee, and give her your undivided time, it will be worth more than any gift you will ever buy from a store, trust us. Cut short your screen time, sort through the family photos, flip through an old album, and relive the old memories with her.

So, even in lockdown, plan something for her; pamper her and take over some of her chores, just vollunteer! It is her day, so show her love and let her feel extra special. Best thing to watch her favorite TV show or movie with entire family. Enjoying TV shows together with excitement and emotional roller coaster ride makes family bond stronger.

Cook something together with your mother, learn to cook like her; capture those special moments and save it as a precious memory. You may also share on social media as well.
