Vaastu Shastra Tips for Family Portraits & Photographs

We take photographs to capture our special moments. We keep our memories in the form of photographs. To cherish our precious moments, we should place our photographs on the walls in the house.

Vastu lays some rules to place family photographs on an apt wall and it is believed that placing photographs on wrong wall in wrong direction can be harmful for the relationships.

According to Vaastu, we should hang pictures of our loved ones in the auspicious directions, as per rules of vaastu. Pictures of family members should be placed in North-East direction, East or North direction.

Photographs of other relatives or friends can also be placed in these directions. This helps in maintaining healthy relations among the family members.

Whereas, pictures of the dead person should be hung in South-West, South, or West directions. It is believed that by doing this dead people’s soul rests in peace.
