This happened few months back and it pains every time, Tragic demise of a young actor leaving everyone in shock but now a days you will get it the moment you will open the newspaper. It’s difficult to imagine what led a friend, family member, or celebrity to take this harsh step. Is this lockdown has brought so much anxiety and pressure.

Feel helpless that we are not getting any solution for this.

Is family friends or we are responsible for this?

Shall we discuss our pain with someone else?

Yes, say it before the world discuss about it.

Sprint of thoughts going on day and night in your mind,

“How to share this?”,

“It’s my problem, I will solve it, no one should know about it”,

 “What others will think or will react”,

“No! Not to parents they will be stressed”,

“Yes friend.., but is he/she reliable?”

End of sprint “I will solve it myself.” and the Race is over.

There is no need to take all the responsibility of your decisions upon your shoulders, share it. No, it isn’t your Karma-you aren’t being punished for anything, don’t feel yourself liable for everything – it’s just life.

Talking about something makes you see things in a different light and perspective and helps you sort things out. It is not easy or it is not your car which you will mend using your tools but you do have one tool in your kit you can always use, talking about your feelings. You can of course solve all the problem of your life but sometime need someone to talk. Once you share, you will find that they are readily primed to invest their time and emotions for you.

Isolation increases the vulnerability to disease, mental illness, depression. We are not super human or robot, every one, once in lifetime confront this phase. Do it until it gets too late. Some of us literally have no one to vent to, but feeling alone isn’t defined by how many people are actually surrounding you. You can feel isolated at workplace at party, with friends. When everyone else seems to have an outlet, you should be keen to find yours. Yes try, its nearby .Don’t allow your thoughts only to run the show alone, hold it.

It’s like your system encountering errors:

ERROR_INVALID_DATA………. change the statement.

An unknown error occurred……………try to sort out.

Couldn’t search for new update………..delete old data and update.

Error_not_enough_memory…….delete few which are of no use.

Error_too_many_open_files…….close it, no need to work on all, altogether.

System has failed …………………………NO, …… don’t reach to this stage.

 

Isn’t it applicable to us too?

Our system also has glitches. Need to delete all infected files to negate negativity and update yourself with more positive thoughts. And download which is very important, download your thoughts, express it in front of some one share it. Don’t even plan for perfect conversation, don’t be intense just talk it out. It is not easy but believe me you will feel solace. Don’t be vacillating and expect that a single conversation to anyone be the end of it.

On the other hand the listener needs to express his/her concern and willingness to listen over and over again. Be gentle, yet persistent. Someone is showing faith in you, so not only just listen but revert with positive statement. I can hear you, I know how it feels. I understand. I am with you but give a vent. Never be judgmental at that particular time. Sometime only giving an ear to someone can help them out.
